Using AI does not guarantee a successful assignment
An assignment can sound convincing and still miss the question. Your work needs a clear topic, relevant research and explanations that show your understanding. AI-generated text can contain inaccurate information, invented references and general statements that do not meet the marking criteria.
Academic misconduct and unauthorised AI use
Unauthorised AI use, presenting another person’s work as your own, copying without acknowledgement and submitting fabricated references can raise academic misconduct concerns. Follow your assessment rules and declare AI assistance when required. A low similarity score or an AI detector result does not establish that the work meets those rules.
False citations and weak research
Check that every source exists, that you have read the relevant material and that it supports your claim. A reference list alone is not enough. Explain the evidence, compare different views and show how the research answers your question.
Unclear ideas and incomplete analysis
A broad topic, unsupported arguments, incorrect calculations or an unsuitable method can weaken your assignment. Missing sections and conclusions that do not follow from the findings can also cost marks. Clear writing helps, but it cannot replace the research and reasoning the task requires.
